RTD Associate Field Marketing Manager - OHLP, KY, SC, DC

Beam Suntory is a top player in the spirits business and focused on becoming a top player within the Ready to Drink category, capturing new consumers and occasions not currently being serviced by our full bottle strength spirit brands in our key markets. The RTD Associate Field Marketing Manager position will play a key role in leadership, development, implementationa and activation in marketing initiatives on Beam Suntory's premium Ready to Drink category; ensuring we advance our long-term brand journey and strategies needed to recruit new consumers and acheive brand ambitions. 

This individual will work with many cross functional partners to plan, execute, track and evaluate marketing RTD programming in an assigned geographical territory. The role will be a key connector between RTD marketing and local sales teams to ensure field marketing plans are strategically aligned and optimized for their markets.

Role Responsibilities

The Associate Field Marketing Manager will focus on the following for the RTD Category.

 National Programming:

• Work closely with Regional Marketing to ensure national programs are purchased to an appropriate level and executed as designed
• Support local execution of sampling, trade, and event programming
• Coordinate and manage all POS buys and inventory at the local level to ensure timely execution of materials in-market

Regional/Local Programming:

• Work with the Marketing Manager, Sales Team, and Distributor/Broker partners to identify all divisional local programming needs to support Beam Suntory priorities
• Work closely with the National Marketing, Regional Marketing, Industry Affairs, Intellectual Property and Sales to ensure local programming adheres to brand guidelines, state and federal regulations, and properly protects our intellectual property
• Manage procurement of promotional materials to support regional and local programs, utilizing centralized procurement options
• Ensure quality, cost efficiencies, program effectiveness, and on-time delivery of local programs
• Assist Marketing Manager with programming calendar management, program tracking and post-campaign performance reporting
• Lead management of local sampling agency including weekly check-ins ensuring regional reporting and tracking
• Support promotion offers and sweepstakes approvals

 BI Management:

• Lead management of RTD BI budget for assigned geographies including budget tracking & reconciliation of spends through tracking tools
• Assist the Marketing Manager with planning, allocation and spend of yearly brand investment (BI) budgets for RTD portfolio
• Participate in BI budget review meetings with all stakeholders (weekly review/monthly deep dive)
• Provide input and recommendations for all incremental program and funding requests to maximize and track return on investment (ROI)

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree; marketing major/minor preferred
• 3+ years of experience in brand or field/trade marketing, or similar commercial experience
• Strong financial acumen, knowledge of Salesforce.com and SAP a plus
• Demonstrated organization and planning skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; specifically, Excel & PPT
• Ideally located in Columbus, OH or Louisville, KY
