    Position summary

    Management of Business Performance - developing and communicating business strategies by curating the definition and measurement of metrics for success. 

    Role Description:

    The candidate will be responsible for leading a team to deliver the financial planning and analysis activities for the Global Client Business team (GCB). The responsibilities would include management and business Reporting, data analytics, budgeting, forecasting, adhocs & project support. The individual will be an inspiring manager with the ability to articulate and deliver business insights and reporting to senior leaders within the business.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead FP&A activities for USCA region within GCB FP&A team
    • Manage a team of high performing individuals to deliver reporting, analysis, and insight to the business
    • Accountable for timely and accurate BAU delivery
    • Hands-on with creating management reports (Financials covering flows, revenue, expenses etc.), including partnering on budgeting/forecasting
    • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including global teams across Finance.
    • Proactively find opportunities to optimize the current reporting structure and develop innovative ways
    • Improve control environment through implementation and enhancement of automated processes
    • Show desire to work in a constantly evolving, changing, and challenging environment
    • Embrace and drive the BlackRock principles

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • MBA with proven experience (6-8 years) in FP&A, Variance Analysis, Stakeholder Management, MIS Reporting and Team Management
    • Strong track record in team management (directly managing), growing talent and motivating diverse team
    • Experience in handling large data and deriving meaningful insights
    • Experience in preparation of flash report / dashboards and management review packs for senior management
    • Attention to detail and a sense of urgency around deadlines
    • Strong communication, writing and presentation skills
    • High level of self-motivation, able to own and drive multiple assignments and willing to respectfully challenge the status quo
    • Work and deliver under minimal direct supervision
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment (not only FP&A team but also across Finance)
    • Highly proficient in Excel. Knowledge of MS Access, PowerBI will be added advantage
    • Experience with TM1, Hyperion, Essbase or similar multi-dimensional analytical tools
