    Position summary

    g key risks, processes, and controls within business units or systems.

    • Audit Program Design: Developing risk-based audit plans and test procedures.

    • Control Testing: Testing controls for design and operational effectiveness.

    • Issue Identification and Escalation: Investigating issues, escalating critical concerns, and determining root causes**.**

    • Report Drafting: Preparing audit reports with findings, risks, and remediation recommendations.

    • Stakeholder Communication: Managing communications with stakeholders throughout the audit process, including presenting findings and agreeing on remediation plans.

    • Remediation Oversight: Tracking and validating resolution of audit issues.

    • Project Management: Managing resources, timelines, and deliverables for audit projects.

    • Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements in audit practices.

    The Technology Audit Vice President will also contribute to ongoing business monitoring and optimization activities, including:

    • Advisory Services: Providing advisory services during the development or acquisition of new businesses and systems to address risks and controls.

    • Risk Assessment: Identifying emerging risks, assessing organizational changes, and conducting periodic risk assessments.

    • Audit Planning: Contributing to the development of the annual audit plan.

    • Collaboration: Building relationships with risk and control functions across the organization.

    • Stakeholder Engagement: Preparing and contributing to presentations for clients, committees, boards, and regulators.

    • Global Initiatives: Leading or supporting department-wide initiatives.

    • Staff Development: Delivering timely feedback and coaching to team members.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Education Requirements: A BA/BS degree or equivalent is required, with preference for a degree in management information systems, engineering, technology, computer science, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CRISC, CEH) are highly desirable.
    • Experience Requirements: Extensive experience (7+ years) in technology audit, technology risk management, or information technology, preferably in financial services.
      • Technology Audit Experience: Strong expertise in data management or conducting integrated audits (other relevant expertise may be considered). Advanced knowledge of technology controls, including resilience, technology operations and change management, is essential.

      • Financial Services Exposure: Demonstrated interest in gaining broad exposure to investment management, sales, trading, operations, risk management, finance, legal, and compliance activities within the asset management industry. Familiarity with financial instruments, asset management processes, and a solid understanding of current regulatory and industry trends is required
