The Opportunity

We are expanding our Commercial team that is supporting the cutting-edge Loyal Wingman Airpower Teaming System (ATS) and are seeking a Finance Cost Analyst. We're looking for “can-do” self-starters, who enjoy working in a diverse team exploring new technology.

Boeing is taking another bold step in aerospace and advanced manufacturing. The Loyal Wingman ATS is the first military aircraft to be designed, engineered and manufactured in Australia in more than 50 years. This unmanned teaming aircraft is Boeing's first military aircraft to be designed and developed outside the U.S and uses artificial intelligence to extend the capabilities of manned and unmanned platforms. This cutting-edge project is aiming to unlock global Defence and aerospace opportunities for Boeing and Queensland. In March 2022, in the latest exciting landmark, the aircraft received the official designation, 'MQ-28A' at the RAAF's naming ceremony.

The role would ideally be based in Brisbane, however offers the opportunity for flexible working arrangements including ability to perform some days remotely from home and flexible working hours. This role offers the opportunity to challenge yourself in a fast-paced environment with plenty of changes that keeps the work interesting and provides the opportunity for exposure to the broader Boeing enterprise.

Responsibilities

Work with our existing Finance team to assist with:

• Development of cost forecasts, weekly financial reporting and quarterly Estimate at Completion
• Analysis of Cost performance and recommendations on impacts & actions
• Pricing of minor contract change proposals
• Review of financial data with program and leadership stakeholders
• Stakeholder management including liaising with CAMs, capabilities and Program Leadership

Experience/Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in finance, business or commerce; or equivalent experience in the workforce
• Strong excel skills
• Experience with Deltek Cobra cost management program or equivalent advantageous
• Familiarity with cost forecasting and EAC development advantageous
• Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements
