Planning/ Continuous Improvement

• Establish and Manage site FOD prevention and Tool Control plans and activities (e.g. enterprise standards, pathfinder and innovation projects)
• Formal documentation
• Provide visibility of FOD activities
• Produce tip sheets, newsletters and supplemental instruction sheets
• Create checklists or visual aids to eliminate FOD
• Recommends FOD Prevention tools and techniques
• Assist in FOD inspections, investigation and resolution of FOD incidents
• Focal point for internal and external FOD audits
• Coordinate layered process audits
• Perform FOD and Tool Control audits
• Drive process improvement based on audit findings and data analysis
• Represent operations for command media / FOD standards discussions

Communication

• Represent Apache Operations at FOD Prevention Committees / Meetings and communicate actions, issues, and best practices
• Be present, engaged and involved with employees and area Management
• Regularly communicate all FOD and Tool control procedures and processes
• Represent site to DCMA customer (maintain good working relationship with customer)

Data Analysis

• Reviews area performance (metrics) and incident reports for leadership & teams
• Analyzes FOD trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions
• Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved

Training

• Provide training and coaching as requested by area management

• Ensure employees completes FOD prevention training and understands site FOD requirements

• Provide employees, supervisors, etc. with interpretations of the procedures
