The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Associate Document Destruct Specialist to join the team in Chantilly, VA.
Collects and transports documents in pre-packaged bags to destruction facility
Loads all metal free documents onto document disintegrator conveyor for destruction
Cleans and provides basic maintenance for document disintegrator and associated briquettors
Checks document destruct rooms to ensure chutes are clear of bags
Maintains metrics for bags collected and destroyed
Under general supervision, provides general support in response to routine trouble calls
Demonstrated understanding of customer service concept
Uses document destruct equipment under general supervision
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
A current valid drivers license
Experience in a customer service role
Capable of lifting up to 35lbs
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working in a high volume document destruction environment
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
