Boeing Defense Space & Security has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Structural Analysis Engineer to join us as part of our UK E-7 MOD team located in Tukwila, WA
BDS Mobility & Surveillance Engineering supports mods of green commercial aircraft in to military products. The UK E-7 MOD will be taking a green 737 airplane and modifying for structural, payloads, wiring, and mechanical systems changes to support the customer needs. We are looking to build a small team to support this modification.
The analysis engineer will have an excellent opportunity to experience the entire modification lifecycle while building the newest airborne platforms in the international AEWC fleet. From layout, to drawing release, the candidate will be a critical member of the Puget Sound Team. The candidate may travel to support mod as required by the customer.
Position Responsibilities
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs
This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Typical Education/Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
