Position: Computing Architect 3
Location: Boeing Digital Solutions, Inc. (d/b/a Jeppesen), Englewood, CO
Defining requirements and designing and verifying routine architecture, data and information management systems and components; preparing initial design constraints and ensuring architecture conforms to requirements; incorporating architecture functions into software development lifecycle; developing and maintaining architecture views and models; performing initial assessments of feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives; performing initial assessment of product suitability for integration into delivery system environments; drafting data and information management products and service standards; assisting with assessment of impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle; applying new cloud services to fit the needs of the business and infrastructure architecture within the overall enterprise and escalating issues or concerns that affect enterprise architecture services; and, handling planned maintenance, production outage and critical projects across different portfolios.
40 hours / week, Monday - Friday, 9 am to 5pm
Employer will accept a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in software engineering, computer science, electronic engineering, or related field and 5 years of work experience in job offered or 5 years of related experience in the design and implementation of solutions for moving applications from on-premises to cloud platforms.
Position also requires 5 years of experience with each of the following:
Maintaining applications and infrastructure in cloud and implementing monitoring standard solutions;
Utilizing cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure), cloud managed services (e.g., Cloud Formation, Azure Resource Manager, DNS, S3, Blob Storage, Multi-Cloud, and Multi-Region) as well as computing security tools (e.g., Firewalls, Web Security, Data Encryption);
Modelling and analysing data from a computing technical and total IT viewpoint, and integrating into an overall computing system and network architecture;
Developing infrastructure as code architectures and programs that link infrastructure and applications in a network centric environment; and,
Monitoring the implementation of architecture throughout the portfolio of products and providing technical mentoring, guidance and clarification to other architects and resources.

Colorado pay: $128,898
