Jeppesen, A Boeing Company is looking for Geospatial Technician in Gdask office.
The position will be located in Gdansk, in Poland office. However, due to the current COVID-19 situation, the work is done mainly remotely or in hybrid mode.
Acquire, analyze, compile, evaluate and review geospatial data.
Exploit, extract, format, manipulate, and symbolize geospatial information.
Ensure the quality, accuracy and currency of geospatial information.
Utilize standardized checklists, work instructions and project configuration documentation to ensure consistent quality of geospatial products.
You will be part of a highly qualified and experienced team working on our modern navigation products used by airline operators.
The application we are using on daily basis consists of ESRI Arc Map, Bentley MicroStation, SQL Databases and many others.
We strive to have strong and empowered teams that takes full responsibility and have the autonomy to be high performing and deliver high product quality through focus and analysis and in close collaboration with other teams and stakeholders.
Our teams are about 20-30 people in size and we are working on different geo-coverages from all around the world which gives you a unique opportunity to get familiar with aviation documents from many countries.

Creating and updating electronically designed aviation products with relevant aeronautical data.
Collecting, processing, and analyzing aeronautical data on the basis of available sources of information.
Communicate, cooperate and solve project problems with team members abroad and in Poland.
Receive considerable technical direction, training, and guidance from peers and superiors as required or requested.
Document your work in English.

Required Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):
Very good command of English.
Preferred Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):
Education in aviation, geography, geodesy, navigation or related field will be a plus.
Experience with Data Analysis.
Fast learning skills.
High flexibility/ability to work in dynamic environment.
Accuracy and focus on details.
Organization and multi-tasking skills.
Interest in aviation and knowledge of aviation industry would be an advantage.
Very good command of Polish.
