Product Systems Product Support and Services team is seeking a highly motivated Lead Systems Design & Integration Specialist to support the development & global deployment of the Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) with regular updates for avionic, electrical and drivetrain systems for the global AH-64 Apache helicopter fleet.
The team, based in Mesa, AZ provides the software and business critical data services for change management, and supports/maintains Authoring and Provisioning applications used for the Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) development. In addition, support is provided to the US Army and 15 Foreign Military Sales customers (FMS) for the Apache and the Little Bird helicopter programs.
A successful candidate will have the ability to discover & leverage IT best practices and engage team/stakeholders with a high level of curiosity to understand how the Technical Publications data is managed and how data services are provided to our Authoring and Provisioning business partners to ensure timely and high quality IETM delivery. In addition to the lead role for the Solution Architecture and Infrastructure, the candidate will explore options of leveraging cloud technology and will lead efforts and develop roadmaps & guide activities to improve/streamline data management practices and modernize the infrastructure to improve stability and scalability of the systems to enable additional Apache customers and future revenue generation. In addition, assessing current capability levels of the team and initiating development practice changes and infrastructure updates to enable continuous integration/deployment of the applications is key to team success.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate may be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
**The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.**
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):**
- 5+ years ofexperience do you have in the following software development languages: C, C++, C#, Java, SqlServer or Oracle
- Strong DevSecOps experience
- Experience leading application modernization activities
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Masters Level Information Management or Computer Science Degree or equivalent is preferred
- COTS Software supplier engagement experience
- Modernization experience to cloud technology
- Familiarity with Global Trade Control compliance requirements
- Experience leveraging data standards
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
