Boeing International Corporation , is seeking a Learning and Development Manager to join our Learning and Development team (L&D)in Gdansk, Poland.
This role will report to the L&D Ecosystem Organization and will execute on the global vision, strategy, delivery and maintenance of learning solutions for the Boeing Enterprise. The role will lead key projects to improve everyday learning at Boeing based on data, anecdotes, and input from stakeholders as well as internal team projects to standardize execution and support scale. Collaboration is a key component of this role. The successful candidate can communicate seamlessly at all levels, while balancing competing priorities. This role will also will provide essential leadership support for the hiring and onboarding of new L&D colleagues across multiple departments.
This leader manages a team of experienced learning and development professionals and provides guidance and direction on priorities for enterprise wide learning solutions. The individual will serve as a conduit for L&D staff in region, guiding collaboration and teamwork across multiple time zones. Expectations include ongoing coaching and advising of peers and partners to ensure the overall success of the team. This hands on, solution-oriented role will collaborate and foster close relationships with L&D leaders and colleagues to overall customer business objectives, goals, and critical initiatives.
Plans and oversees learning and development service activities in conjunction with global colleagues and collaborators.
Executes trend analysis, pilot programs, customer feedback to identify relevant programs and products that create differentiated value for end users.
Hands on leader capable of setting direction and priorities for global learning team.
Ability to develop metrics and tracking mechanisms to optimize workflows.
Acts as a point of contact to coordinate resolution of department issues or concerns.
Measures team KPI's and results to ensure outstanding customer experience.
Evaluates, selects, and manages a pool of resources (vendors, content providers, etc.) to support learning and development needs.
Oversees and works with colleagues to develop statements of work and staffing plans with succinct project deliverables, timelines and return on customer expectations.
Receives work requests and assigns to appropriate staff members for deployment.
Forecasts and manages daily workflow of colleagues to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Accountable for the timely execution of initiatives.
Provides constructive and timely performance feedback and evaluations.
Creates career paths and identifies promotional opportunities to stretch and retain colleagues.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
10+ years of related experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to connect with employees at all levels of the organization
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
Ability to adapt to a fast paced business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Fluency in English language
