The Boeing Company is looking for a Metrology Test & Evaluation Associate Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA. This role will be supporting Boeing MATES Engineering Metrology Solutions for the RF/uWave, and DC Low Frequency Electronic Disciplines at our El Segundo and Huntington Beach sites.
Write or revise procedures for compliance in operation and safety
Support calibration technicians with the proper tools, procedure, and training to perform the work statement
Review customer M&TE for reliability, delay dating, and extension opportunities
Work with customer to provide solutions to calibration request
Work, troubleshoot, and maintain calibration automated software procedures, and platforms
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Experience in metrology and/or calibration/certification
Experience in RF (radio frequency) testing
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience Surecal, Metcal and/or Agilent TME
2+ years of experience in metrology and/or calibration/certification
2+ years of experience in RF (radio frequency) testing
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
