Position Overview:
Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking motivated and talented Systems Engineers to join the Bombers and Fighters Systems Engineering Team in St. Louis, Missouri.

Position Responsibilities:
Evaluate customer/operational needs to define and allocate system performance, functional, and regulatory/certification requirements
Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to develop system architecture models in conjunction with new technologies and concepts
Perform test/verification activities to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Assist in developing system engineering plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents
Coordinate resolution of action items from technical interchange meetings, design reviews, and program reviews
Conduct risk assessments and generate mitigation plans
This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications:

Experience in applying engineering processes and principles
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering principles and tools such as Cameo
Experience/domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation
Experience with systems development and integration
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
