Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is a subsidiary of the Boeing Company and currently employs over 1,200 people in the UK. BDUK is responsible for delivering several exciting contracts to our UK defence customers including E-7 AEW&C, E7 Maritime Patrol Aircraft, C4ISR Services, Through-Life Support for the Chinook & Apache Fleets, Logistic Information Services and Training Services.
The E7 Project Coordinator has responsibility, accountability and authority for specific projects assigned to time, cost, requirement and quality and provides specific Project Control support across the E7 Programme in supporting Battle Rhythm and Integrated Resource Planning. Develops and manages assigned projects' plans consistent with project objectives as agreed with the UK E7 Programme Manager and key stakeholders in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry.
Develops and manages Programme / Project Control processes and procedures that will ensure the E7 Programme complies with the Boeing Program Management Best Practices and the E7 Battle Rhythm and Management Plans.
Lead assigned projects providing effective co-ordination and management.
Ensure the establishment of clearly defined project baselines in accordance with company procedures
Execute, monitor and control the project in accordance with company processes to time, cost and quality
Monitors and reports on all aspects of assigned projects.
Acts as primary interface to customers / stakeholders for assigned projects.
Risk Issue and Opportunity Management for assigned projects
Project Control Responsibilities for the E7 Programme including:
Coordinating the Programme Battle Rhythm including collection and preparation of programme/project reports and monitoring dashboards.
Develops processes and metrics to enable consistent execution, measurement and control across the E7 Programme
Act as the E7 Programme Integrated Resource Planning focal.
Experience of Project Control including Integrated Resource Planning
Experience of managing over and above tasking

Proven ability to support sustainment projects in a dynamic environment.
Ability to manage change within a challenging schedule.
Experience of good stakeholder management skills across multiple stakeholders (e.g. client, third parties, equipment suppliers, sponsor, assurance, contractors) to ensure project coherence and alignment.
Ability to demonstrate budgetary and project control over the life of the project.
A 'can-do' attitude with the ability to think around problems, use intuition and get the best from those around them; a team effort
APM project management qualifications
Direct experience of managing UK MoD Contracts including managing the customer interface and relationships
