The Boeing Company is currently seeking a high performing IT Technical Project Manager to join the Product Systems build team in Bangalore, India. The Product Systems build team provides comprehensive software solutions to rapidly access and visually transform complex engineering and manufacturing product data.

The roles and responsibilities includes Developing and managing information technology (IT) project plans and deliverables, Supporting determination of project scope, schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the system development lifecycle, incorporation of quality management systems for IT projects, Monitoring project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards, Identifying necessary resources to meet project goals, Developing and executing project communication plans, Identifying project risks and developing mitigation plans.

Good communication skills are needed both verbally and written, to Interact with peers and customers. Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. Position Responsibilities:

• Develop and own cross functional software development plans that define planning, development, verification, operations, milestones, and quality of infrastructure and application development and maintenance initiatives

• Develop detailed technical understanding of all components to facilitate prioritization of requests from the Product Management organization and other key internal stakeholders as well as identify the connections and dependencies among other teams.

• Support the Scrum teams with monitoring schedule deviations, velocity and assisting in the development of corrective action plans at the program level

• Generate project scope, schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the business process development and system development lifecycle. Negotiates changes to program/project baselines. Identifies and negotiates for necessary resources to meet program/project goals. Conducts analysis and recommends resource allocation. Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers.

• Partner with the internal Product Management organization to drive requirements and work with other teams to continuously interact with stakeholders to set expectations, review objectives and coordinate resources across the individual projects.

• Work with Release Management organization to develop release schedules and intermediate milestones for release trains across product lines and ensure the engineering teams are aligned with the release model for predictable releases.

• Manage, track, and regularly communicate on-time delivery of multi-phased priorities to different levels ranging from cross functional teams to Executives.

• Work closely with the team of Product Managers, Business Functions and key stakeholders across the company to successfully drive the project through various phases of Planning, Execution, Production Readiness and Post Production program health and sustenance of Applications.

• Responsible for managing successful delivery of releases into production on agreed schedules.

• Guide agile (Scrum and Kanban) transformation of the Software Engineering Product development side of the business.

• Hands-on with design review, Quality and Risk management and root cause analysis

• Facilitate continuous improvement of the process, practices and templates associated with Milestone gates.

• Maintain dashboards in Azure Devops, Excel, status reporting tools providing real-time visibility across projects.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 12+ years of overall experience in IT, 4+ years in Project Management
• Hands-on software development and Maintenance of Vital Production applications
• Strong collaboration, project planning and execution skills
• Experience working in Engineering IT applications
• Excellent judgment, decision making skills, and the ability to work under continual deadline pressure
• Excellent written and oral communications
• Strong, independent leader, who is a self-starter and a proven team player in a high achievement-oriented environment
• CSM, PMP certification a plus
• Program and Project Management Best Practices, Agile Scrum Master, Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), ITG Clarity, Microsoft Project, Milestone, BORIS, AD&S, ARIS or other Modeling tools
• Mentored junior software engineers and project managers

Typical Education & Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) will be preferred but not required and typically 12 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+11 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
