Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), 737 Build Capability organization is looking for a Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 4) to join our team in Renton, WA.
The ideal candidate will support the 737 program in working towards a digital strategy to make our production system more effective and to reduce burden throughout the value steam.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform most of the work onsite at the above listed location.

Manage the entire portfolio of projects with a gated process and defined Objective and Verifiable Evidence.
Responsible for an integrated master schedule.
Interface with program leadership for necessary program approvals, funding and support.
Lead the integrated 737 Digital Strategy steering team to ensure proper alignment and integration. Responsible for the in-take process for any new SOW.
Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards). Oversight, and management responsibility (including performance mgmt & reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of organizational the goals and objectives.
Identifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements.
Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan.
Provides in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans.
Provides assessment of team performance to appropriate management.
Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation.
Provides in depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide historical reports to incorporate into future project plans.
Provides input of team member performance to management, where appropriate.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment.
3+ years of experience in program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, and/or related disciplines.
3+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
Experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedulers or resolve technical or operational problems.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study, in business or project management.
Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical personnel at all organization levels.
Project Management Certification is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership for driving issue resolution and mitigating technical risk.
Demonstrated strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Typical Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
