Boeing Commercial Airplane is seeking a high performing Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 5) to join our Aviation Product Cybersecurity teams in Seattle and Everett, WA. The successful candidate will lead the development and management of complex integrated project plans and deliverables across multiple organizations and commodities. The candidate will lead determination of project scope, schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the system development lifecycle, incorporation of Aviation standards and flows for Product Security Certification, identify necessary resources to meet project goals, develop and execute project communication plans, identify project risks and develop mitigation plans, provide assessment of project performance to appropriate management up to executive level.
Good communication skills are needed both verbally and written, to interact with peers, leadership, customers and regulators. Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Responsible for developing complex project plans, directs all project phases
Leads others and direct all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
Coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project and teams, finance, planning, scheduling and line management.
Uses trend, earned value and variance analyses and risk assessments to develop plans or to recommend change.
Uses Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) to develop robust operating and reporting rhythm for programs to ensure a successful outcome.
Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
Performs project close-out and documents lessons learned activities as necessary.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Identify and manage actively opportunities, risks and issues to ensure effective resolution or mitigation.
Liaise with project stakeholders.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other Stakeholders.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Identify and manage project dependencies and the associated critical path(s).
Plan, schedule and manage project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and Presentations.
Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and investigate problem areas.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
Effectively run Project meetings from project kick-off to Post implementation Review ensuring all stakeholders meet their responsibilities.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Gantt charts, resource load charts).
3+ years of experience with developing and executing operating rhythms, integrated program schedules, project plans, and/or metrics.
Bachelor's degree or higher.
3+ years of experience developing complex resource loaded integrated project plans across multiple organizations and commodities.
Oversight, and management responsibility (including performance mgmt & reporting) for a portfolio of medium to large projects in support of the business unit's goals and objectives.
Experience using a RIO tracking and reporting tool
Experience using Open Plan Professional (OPP)
Proven track record of successful delivery of complexity and risk in projects across a variety of areas
The individual must be enthusiastic and hands on in their approach and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
