Boeing Brazil. is seeking Structural Analyst Engineer, reporting to the Global Engineering Manager, working out of the Sao Jose Dos Campos, Brazil office. The Structural Analyst Engineer will join Boeing Commercial Aircraft Structure.
The Structural Analyst Engineer will work on the development, integration and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system design. Successful candidate will coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment. Job responsibility includes guiding product design and verifying structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.

Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
Works under general direction.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
4+ years of experience in structures engineering
Bachelor’s degree or higher in related fields
Good verbal and written communications skills in English
Experience with design and analysis of metallic and composite materials
Must be legally able to work in Brazil
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
Experience with durability and damage tolerance analysis
Occasional travel may be required in support of the program and customer
Typical Education and Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
