The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join the team in Mesa, Arizona. This position will focus on supporting Boeing Global Services (BGS).
Position Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Specialist who will serve as the primary interface with all business units and functions on matters related to supply chain support and who's duties will include, but are not limited to:
Lead and perform Supply Chain Execution Reviews for all new business proposal offerings ensuring clear strategies with identified risk and mitigation plans for successful contract execution
Author, shape, and amend supply chain execution related contract terms and conditions.
Evaluate supply chain contract performance requirements
Assess forecasts, Bills of Material accuracy, and ability to produce material
Evaluate material lead times and capacities
Supply chain architecture – system & tool integrations, warehousing, transportation, and logistics requirements
Facilitate the development of action plans with business units and supply chain functional teams
Participate in Enterprise solutions
Manage contract execution performance improvements and fulfillment
Management of supply chain systems & tools integrations
Lead Risk, Issue, & Opportunity mitigation plans
Prevent and mitigate customer satisfaction issues
Develop and maintain business events and process flows
Optimize supply chain disruption and provide solution management to complex execution issues
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the Mesa, Arizona site.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10 years experience with material cost management, supply chain analysis, supply chain management or finance
10 years experience developing solutions to complex issues that require ingenuity and innovation
Perform work with minimal direction
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools
10 years experience with warehousing and logistics processes
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Expert in inventory and order management systems, tools, and processes
Expert in material Line of Balance development and analyses
Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert and spokesperson for the organization
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
