The Boeing and Defense, Space, & Security organization is seeking an experienced Production Operations Specialist in El Segundo, CA. This position utilizes production engineering principles to analyze and implement manufacturing processes and methods that comply with company policies and procedures, improves production efficiency and optimizes product quality.
Position Responsibilities:
• Develops and implements manufacturing processes.
The selected candidate must be able to work any shift that is required. This position may require some domestic travel.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 1 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Minimum 3 year of experience analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting results
• Minimum 3 year of experience conducting audits, inspections, investigations, and coordinating resolution of issues
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with and/or interpreting engineering data or engineering drawings
• Minimum 1 years of experience implementing lean principles
Typical Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
