Boeing Talent Acquisition is seeking Mid Career Level System Support Engineers to support our VC-25B Program in Tukwila WA.
The successful candidate will initially support the VC-25B Program within the Boeing Global Services Engineering Learning and Technical Data organization with opportunities to support other Boeing Derivative Platforms in the future.
Performs logistics product support to ensure sustainment capability of moderately-complex products and services; researches and provides technical information used to develop and maintain logistics products and engineering data
Establishes systems support requirements, approaches and solutions; develops and documents processes
Provides logistics support influence on product designs; determines and develops supportability-related design approaches and solutions
Supports the data collection and analysis needs to respond to customer inquiries
Proposes, evaluates, validates, approves and implements engineering changes
Provides logistics support input for proposal development
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate may be required to perform some work onsite at our Tukwila, WA location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final Secret U.S. Security Clearance Post-Start is required.
This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
Experience working with Aircraft Maintenance Manual and Fault Isolation Manual (AMM/FIM)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Minimum 5 years experience developing and documenting processes
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
