Job Description
There is an immediate opening for a highly motivated and experienced Executive Assistant to support the Market Executive of the Merrill Wealth Management Leadership Team.
The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills, excellent communication skills and possess highly effective interpersonal skills. The right candidate will work in a fast paced environment and be an integral member of a strong leadership team. He/She/They should display strong leadership skills and be highly motivated to positively impact the business and deliver excellent client service both internally and externally. The ideal candidate may be involved in high-level client contact and exposure to sensitive information, and must use considerable tact, diplomacy and judgment. Advanced administrative and analytical skills are preferred with a thorough knowledge of a variety of software programs.
The role of the Executive Assistant will be to perform diverse, advanced and confidential administrative support functions including composing, signing and releasing routine but somewhat complex correspondence. He/she usually relieves management of administrative details; gathers, compiles and reports information relevant to/for department; may manage a number of different and often conflicting objectives, projects or activities at one time. Communicates with executives and line management to gather or convey relevant information.
Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred
Minimum of 3+ years professional or relevant internship experience required
Strong relationship building skills to communicate with internal team and executive level management to gather/convey relevant information
Prior knowledge of financial products, policies & procedures is highly preferred
Strong client service & technical skills (MS Word & Excel)
Strong communication, time management and organizational skills are required
Self-motivated, positive attitude a must
