    Position summary

    , chaos engineering, incident management, and resilience automation.

    • Enable Engineering Teams: Build products and capabilities that allow engineers across Booking.com to design, deploy, and operate reliable services with minimal friction.

    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with SRE, platform, and product engineering teams to align on reliability goals, SLOs, and error budgets.

    • Incident & Postmortem Insights: Incorporate learnings from incidents and operational reviews into the product roadmap.

    • Measure Impact: Define KPIs for reliability tooling adoption and effectiveness (MTTD, MTTR, deployment success rates, incidents prevented, service uptime).

    • Advocate for Reliability Culture: Drive awareness and adoption of best practices, empowering teams to take shared responsibility for reliability.

    Role Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.

    • 5+ years in Product Management, with at least 2 years in platform, infrastructure, or reliability-focused products at scale.

    • Solid understanding of distributed systems, observability, cloud/hybrid infrastructure, CI/CD, and modern SRE practices, ML experience is a plus.

    • Ability to translate complex operational data into actionable product insights.

    • Proven ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

    • Strong empathy for internal users (engineers, SREs, platform teams) and ability to balance their needs with strategic priorities.
