What You'll Do
As a generalist Consultant or Project Leader affiliated to the turnaround topic, you will be working alongside some of the world's top minds in the industry. You will work hand in hand with the decision makers of our client company, having a real seat at the table. Through your project you will accompany companies from a variety of sectors and industries through decisive changes in France and Western Europe. The majority of your time will be spent as part of the BCG turnaround team composed of members of different backgrounds collaborating intensively and building a long-term relation with our client.
You will also dedicate time to further develop and deepen BCG's expertise in restructuring and turnaround, as well as supporting BCG Partners in business development initiatives. On a day to day basis this will translate in:
Play a role in the growth of our TURN operational and financial restructuring topic through case execution, client development, and intellectual property & product creation
Execute, or provide expertise and support to turnaround projects in diversified industries with a focus on operational restructuring and short term performance improvement.
Navigate and interpret financial statements to build situation diagnosis and short term action plan
Identify and valorise short term levers & advocate their implementation to companies' decision makers
Work jointly with BCG and client project teams, bringing expertise to the team and to the client on site
Provide intellectual leadership for the project teams by generating key ideas and conceptual frameworks to guide research and analysis
Actively support our business development efforts: client meetings, industry conferences
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
Over 7 years of work experience gained in a lateral environment with a focus on turnaround and restructuring topics
A track record of leading corporate and financial restructuring projects
Analytical and structured with excellent problem solving skills (hypothesis driven approach etc.)
Excellent communication and persuasion skills to interact and manage C-level stakeholders
Excellent written and spoken French and English
Willingness to travel internationally and to work remotely on client sites (subject to current Covid 19 regulations)
