Practice Area Profile

BCG Platinion launched in Germany in 2000 to add deep technical expertise to the Boston Consulting Group's existing capabilities. Today, our presence spans across the globe, with offices in Asia, Europe, and South and North America. Our New York-based North American team began in 2014 and in 2017 acquired MAYA Design, a Pittsburgh-based digital design and innovation lab, to grow our capabilities around technology and design. We support our clients' total digital transformation through technology, design, cybersecurity, and risk management & financial engineering capabilities. And together with BCG, BCG Platinion's interdisciplinary team of technical experts enable customized technical solutions and accelerate delivery value through new business platforms, application consolidations, and major system implementations.

At BCG Platinion you will work alongside a bold, energetic and collaborative team. You will evaluate and coach our clients' technology teams, define technology strategies, architecture solutions and help us design the future. You will develop and grow by being exposed to new and complex challenges daily. Together with our clients, you will develop superior digital and technology concepts and architecture solutions as well as support technical implementations actively and on site, applying your sound Blockchain technical know-how, your understanding of business contexts, and your analytical and conceptual skills.

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

We're looking for IT Architects with exposure to different types of Blockchain (public/private permissioned), Blockchain frameworks, database architecture & design, security architecture and who have proficiency in one or more programming languages. At least 4 years of experience as a Technical/Solution Architect

Expertise in full Architecture development life cycle

Proficient with one or more programming languages (ideally a full-stack development background)

Proficient with database architecture and design

Competent with the Blockchain networks (public, private, consortium and hybrid)

Competent with different Blockchain frameworks (Hyperledger Fabric, R3 Corda, Ethereum)

Understanding of various different consensus algorithms

Expertise using cryptographic material (I.e. certificates for identity management in order to authenticate members, transactions etc.)

Knowledge of either AI, Machine Learning or IoT
