At BCG we are at the frontline of such transformation and we are currently seeking an experienced Project Leader, willing to take up the challenge of shaping the future of the industry and lead our clients to a path toward the energy transition. Within the Group, you will leverage your extensive expertise and guide our teams throughout projects in producing leading-edge business models, addressing specific problems and opportunities and in the implementation of sustainable solutions.It's an exciting opportunity to become our clients' trusted advisor on key strategic business issues.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Project Leader at BCG IGTI, you will have the chance to
- Lead the execution of groundbreaking consulting projects and ensure successful delivery of client requirements within the scope of the engagement
- Act as a key topic content lead for proposals or other business development work, implementing them directly or by providing guidance to your team
- Be the client's trusted advisor, managing existing relationships on a day-to-day basis and scouting new business opportunities in the market
- Become a point of reference for your team, coaching junior consultants to help develop their consulting skills, giving frequent feedback and creating opportunities for team members to learn and grow
- Support and contribute to other BCG projects, by sharing expertise or best practices
- Contribute to the development of intellectual property within the Practice Area(s), including improving methodologies, tools, techniques and developing new ideas and approaches
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
We are looking for a determinate, tenacious and creative professional, with the ability to think in a new box. Our ideal Project Leader should
- Have at least 7 years of consulting experience, with a strong focus on the practice Energy OR
- Have held a leadership role in the related industry, combined with at least 4 years consulting experience
- Be an excellent communicator and presenter.
- You should have the ability to synthesize the team's work into recommendations for clients, and deliver oral and written reports to client management in both English and Italian
- Be a proven leader with exceptional drive and commitment
- Have a solid track record of building strong client relationships with large organizations.
- You should be proficient at managing client engagements, and provide thought leadership to teams, owning the responsibility for the quality of engagements
- Have sound analytical skills, strategic thinking, creative problem solving and mental agility
- Be always ready to apply the highest ethical standards
