Billing and Contract Admin Supervisor
About the role:
This position is responsible for leading the service contract administration and billing department in support of BSC capital equipment offerings worldwide. This role will contribute to the development, implementation and execution of Service Sales and sales enablement objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area supported. Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.
- Manage all aspects of the contract administration and billing team to drive service revenue. Structure, staff and manage the department for achievement of Sales Enablement and Capital Equipment Technical Services objectives.
- Manage day to day operations and scheduling of personnel to meet customer and department needs.
- Design, implement and maintain operations procedures for service contracts order entry, and service contract administration for all relevant BSC products. (order processing, , performance measurements, training records,
- Provide customer service and service contract sales support for all supported BSC equipment offerings.
- Enhance and ensure the existence of effective coaching for consistent improvement and development of employees
- Maximize employee satisfaction and retention.
- Develop action plans and follow through to impact change.
- Drive the desired results to achieve a competitive advantage through on-going evaluation of performance and processes.
- Identify, recommend and support the implementation of various programs for the improvement of call center processes.
- Monitor and drive excellence in customer service, utilize observations, analysis and trending to identify organizational areas of opportunity and efficiencies
- Continually evaluate, improve and implement changes to assure customer-centric departmental focus.
- Deal with escalated customer queries, complaints, and provide a high level of customer satisfaction as measured through customer metrics.
- Manage customer escalation, internal escalation meetings, and reporting
- Provide personal development plans and performance reviews on a timely basis
- Interface with; external customers, sales, marketing and engineering managers, and international counterparts.
What we’re looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Lead role or supervisory experience
- MS Excel experience
- Sales of services (Service Contracts, subscription sales)
- Detail Oriented with strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Outbound and Inbound calling experience
- Experience in the Medical Device Industry
- Excellent oral and Written communication skills
- Independent and self-directed
- Effective Problem Solving / Process Improvement skills
- Inside Sales and/or Order Entry experience
- Salesforce.com (SFDC) experience
