Job Description:
The Global R&D Systems team provides Business Intelligence services to several stakeholders in different regions and functions, at all levels, within Boston Scientific. In this role, the candidate will support the development of a wide variety of business intelligence and data science solutions to internal customers, with the purpose of enabling real-time and accurate generation of useful knowledge for decision making.
This candidate will be a contractor through Aseboston.
Job requirements:
•BS degree in Information Technology, Information Technology for Business Management, Computer Science, or related.
•2-3 years of working experience using PowerBI or Tableau. Certifications in PowerBI are a plus.
•Experience creating dashboards that reflect business acumen, excellent visual display of quantitative information & storytelling.
•Comprehensive knowledge of data design, data modeling, data management, and data visualization.
•Intermediate-Expert level in Structured Query Language (SQL, Oracle, PostGreSQL, MySQL).
•Knowledge of PowerQuery, M Language, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
•Details-oriented, proactive, self and fast learner & innovative person with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Fluent in English (advanced level in speaking, reading, and writing).
•Knowledge of tools and platforms such as Microsoft Azure, SQL Management studio, DAX studio, SAP is desired.
