Role Purpose
This role is a member of the APAC PMO team and will lead the FP&A Optimization project with the respective Finance workstream leads for (1) Planning & Forecasting and (2) Reporting & Analysis. The role will support the workstream leads to execute project deliverables, including assessing current state, defining to-be state, engaging stakeholders and driving change. The project manager will be responsible for project deliverables which include:
- Co-ordinating the definition of scope of the project life cycle. Develops realizable business case for project. Ensures benefits are realized.
- Enable a pre-defined project mythology to successful drive positive change.
- Structuring project and ensures formal transparency and governance is put in place for appropriate stakeholder groups.
- Plan each project phase, track execution and lead change management
- Breaks the scope into manageable deliverables, time bound project plan and tracks to completion.
- Identify stakeholders, organize project team and engage stakeholders and FP&A across the region to drive desired change
- Drive process improvement (simplifying, automation, leverage scale) & operational excellence in financial planning and analysis
- Develop and execute future state of the FP&A Optimization project
This role reports to the PMO functionally but is very much assigned to APAC Finance for the duration of the project.
Role Responsibilities
- Establishes and communicates a clear vision for the project charter.
- Develops and translates business strategy into project goals and measurable objectives (critical success factors) for FP&A.
- Address business needs, identify and implement new & innovative solutions
- Works with sub work stream leads to iedntify process and policy improvement opportunities and champions a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct As-is assessment, gaps identification/where do we want to get to/how to get there and execute to-be state
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance with at least 10 years of experience with team management experience
- Demonstrated operational excellence (Lean/Sigma) experience with any formal accreditation a bonus
- Demonstrated Project Management skills with formal accreditation a bonus e.g. PMI-PMBOK
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Good understanding of reporting & planing systems, processes, business requirements.
- Collaborative and able to manage complexities, engage various stakeholders and recommend solutions while driving change.
- Keen interest/experience in identifying improvement opportunities, challenging status quo, driving functional excellence
- Abiltiy to deal with complexities, engaging stakeholders and driving change.
