Project Management Specialist II
About the Role:
The Project Management Specialist II manages infrastructure projects to ensure the highest level of performance and availability.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Project planning, in detail, in support of major project, product/process transfer etc.
- Co-coordinating and leading the activities of any BSC allocated resources.
- Transferring and implementing processes either from development or from another distribution or manufacturing facility.
- Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality and utilizing and following appropriate methodologies.
- Lead major workstreams, facilitate discussion to drive decisions to closure, risk mitigation activities, or problems that impede project progress.
- Development of and adherence to project contract or terms and conditions.
- Ensure regulatory compliance to GMP’s of all medical device regulatory agencies (e.g., FDA, ISO, and MDD).
- Liaise with project manager, and other team members and functional management as necessary and effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with product support teams, R&D, quality and engineering and regulatory on project deliverables and initiatives.
- Liaise directly with vendors under the control of BSC Quality / Logistics or acquisition sites which are in the process of integration.
- Development and implementation of appropriate supporting documentation, which complies with GMP in conjunction with the other team members.
- Prepare and deliver project status updates to management and project sponsors incorporating status reports and project plan updates.
- Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area they support.
- Identify and escalate unresolved obstacles to the success of the project.
- Participates in the planning, execution and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines, within budget and by following organized and repeatable procedures.
- Acquires resources and coordinates the efforts of team members and third party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Conducts project post mortems and communicates lessons learned in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a scientific or technical discipline
- 3+ years related experience to include leading or managing projects
- Strong data analysis skills
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Tools
Willingness to travel (<50%)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years medical device industry experience preferred
