ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary responsibility of the Purchase-to-Pay (PtP) Business Analyst is to support the delivery of successful acquisition integration programs. This individual will be partnering with program/project managers and business functions across Boston Scientific, and its acquired businesses, to ensure efficient and high-quality processes.

The PtP Business Analyst is responsible for developing standardized processes and implements solutions that meet the business needs. This role will report to the Operational Excellence Manager.

YOUR REPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• As a Subject Matter Expert, provide Account Payables process/content knowledge as input in projects
• Defines project plans, timelines, resources, roles, tasks and risks, by using project management tools
• Appropriately communicates status updates, escalates issues, and manages timelines and action items.
• Fosters business partnering by collaborating with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including legacy-BSC and acquired businesses
• Works closely with development teams (internal and external) to assure timely solutions are delivered according to the specifications and implementation requirements of the business.
• Drives or participates in all stages of process and system integration from gathering user requirements and researching options, design, configuration/development and testing, to rollout and maintenance.
• Identifies opportunities for business process improvements and establishes effective and efficient processes using Lean methods.
• Ensures that processes and related systems meet all applicable compliance requirements.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• BS/BA Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of working experience in Purchase-to-Pay or Account Payables is a must
• Experience in a business process analyst a/o project role, is preferred
• Continuous Improvement mindset is a must, and a LEAN, Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certificate is an asset
• Experience working in matrix structured multinationals, preferable within Operational Excellence, Shared Services or Business Process Outsourcing environment
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Adaptable to changing situations and priorities
• Advance knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with SAP or other ERP’s is a must
• Able to work in a collaborative virtual setting
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Additional European languages are an asset
