Senior Business Analyst
Scrum Master Supply Chain
Working place: Warsaw, Poland
or Gurgaon, India
Boston Scientific is looking for an experienced Senior Business System Analyst to support Supply Chain projects within an SAP in the Warsaw, Poland office. This person will be the primary technical owner, which includes development, enhancement, documentation, and support of SAP projects. In addition, the person will analyze, design, document, test and deliver business systems and Information System process solutions to meet business requirements.

- Lead all ceremonies
- Manage and drive resolution of Support Tickets to meet SLAs using available tools (Remedy, Tableau, etc.)
- Oversee software release processes
- Work closely with the project team (internal and external) to assure a timely solution
- May lead multiple project activities simultaneously, working with internal and external cross-functional groups
- Resolve technical issues including diagnosis of problem, recommendations for workarounds and defect correction
- Analyze, design, construct, test, and implement system or application enhancements
- Create and maintain all required technical documentation per IT methodology and processes
- Demonstrate technical leadership by staying current on new technologies
- Maintain collaborative working relationship with IS services (database, data center, servers, desktop, networking, security)
- Understand customer’s business implications and incorporate understanding into technical and process improvement recommendations
- Lead or support roll-out and implementation of SAP small and medium size initiatives
- Lead project work stream activities, working with internal and external cross-functional groups
- Adhere to project plans, tasks, and deliverables; identify dependencies and resource requirements
- Appropriately communicate project status, escalate issues, and manage timelines and action items
- Work closely with the SAP Run Team in the prioritization, testing, and deployment of system change requests and/or providing support
Leadership Responsibilities
- Collaboratively perform across different work work groups and divisions towards the achievement of organizational goals
- Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements)
- Lead an Agile-trained team to deliver IT solutions through all required sprints
- Ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to by the project team and be able to be a voice of reason and authority
- Facilitate all sprint ceremonies (daily scrums, backlog refinement, planning, retrospectives and reviews)
- Seek continuous improvement opportunities
- Capture team metrics and manage product backlog, track progress
- Ensure the project team is fully functional and productive
- Escalate status and blockers to the program level
- Remove impediments / blockers, shield the team from external interferences, and enable collaboration across all roles
- Escalate issues and project risks as they arise and elevate them to management
- Be transparent with your business partners about status and develop business trust
- Facilitate discussion and alternative approaches to challenge
- May lead multiple project activities simultaneously, working with internal and external cross-functional groups. (Intermediate, Senior)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 7+ years experience in Information Technology projects
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies
- Strong configuration and implementation skills in the areas of SAP
- 5+ years experience of SAP Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality systems in ECC
- 3+ years of Business Analytical skills in SAP Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality systems in ECC
- Able to evaluate intake requests and help team develop ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) based on estimating templates
- Demonstrated success working in a highly collaborative, matrix environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact
- Strong technical competencies and demonstrated leadership competencies required with a strong sense of personal accountability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and business partners
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with strong, proactive work ethic
- Exceptional organizational & time management skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile tools (preference is Jira, Confluence primary) but would be open to other tools
- Experience with Medical Device or Life Sciences beneficial
- S4/Hana Experience
- Cross Functional SAP Understanding (SC, FI, CTC, BW)
