The Technical Lead is responsible for driving the implementation of next generation cloud-based Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) at Boston Scientific. This position will lead delivery of system configurations with vendor, integrations to multiple source systems and data migration from a legacy CTMS system in a phased delivery approach.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Accountable for the development, release and support of clinical trial needs
• Lead product lifecycle activities including short- and long-term strategy, including launch, maintenance, enhancements and end of life activities from a technical/IT standpoint
• Recognized as the Subject Matter Expert for technical aspects of CTMS
• Working in conjunction with Global Clinical Operations and divisional leads, leads development of the backlog
• Leads value optimization efforts within Clinical trial management workstreams by identifying process and system improvements
• Works effectively across cross functional groups including but not limited to IT
• Ability to work with all levels of professionals at varied levels within the organization including virtual teams

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 7+ years in IT in medical device and/or healthcare IT industries
• 5+ years of experience with Clinical Trial Management systems (CTMS) and eTMF (Electronic Master Data File)
• Experience implementing large cloud-based platforms within a complex technical landscape
• Experience with leading multiple integrations to external systems from CTMS
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to lead diverse and cross functional groups, including outside vendors
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to analyze issues, develop and deploy solutions within a dynamic environment
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Agile experience is a plus
