About the Role
As the Project Analyst on the Finance team, you will be working cross-functionally within Brivo’s, Accounting, Finance and Supply Chain groups as well as across the entire Company’s organization. This position is ideal for someone who loves to dig deep into process flows and systems, solve problems and gain Company-wide exposure.
You will also be expected to:
- Provide financial analysis and reporting of programs and initiatives
- Research and provide recommendations on practical business decisions
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances
- Implement data warehouse approach to capture critical raw data from disparate systems to enable systematic analytics and reporting of KPI's and ad hoc reporting
- Coordinate KPI dashboarding for executive level reporting and the responses to CXO questions and/or supporting data behind the summary KPIs and their movement over time.
- Conduct quantification of analysis of capital project expenditures, prioritization and ROI in support of strategic objectives.
- Provide company-wide support in analytics, research and estimation
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Expert/Guru status with large Microsoft Excel data files, including Pivots and Vlookups, is required.
- Must be able to reconcile and support output reporting back to original source data
- Demonstrated strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to boil down concepts, trends, financial results into simple visual presentations
- Must be able to independently extract data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, Production .csv files, etc.) and effectively summarize the raw data into meaningful, actionable information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight
