WHAT YOU'LL DO
Product Assembly
Identify and assemble various parts according to work instructions and according to established TAKT time
Inspect parts and units according to specification in work instructions
Use power or hand tools make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards
Test the unit to ensure it meets the specification for correct assembly
Pack the finished product for storage
Assemble and pack accessory kits for designated products
Quality and 5S
Report problems or abnormal issues found with unit, parts, or equipment
Understand and follow the 5S principles
Safety
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of safety policies, programs, and procedures
Use equipment & materials properly in a safety approved manner
Follow housekeeping & maintenance rules
Report safety hazards and unsafe conditions
ABOUT OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
Education
High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) or equivalent experience
Experience
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience working in a production or manufacturing facility, hand assembling products, and using operating power tools such as a screwdriver or drill
Other Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to Identify small parts by shape and terminology
Ability to work with a sense urgency by working within assigned Takt time for work area
Ability and willingness to work in a team environment
Ability and willingness to learn new tasks and become multi-skilled

The annualized salary for this position is $31,200 per year ($15.00 / hour)
