    Position summary

    the Home Appliance Division (HAD) Product and Education initiatives, covering various products (hardware, accessories and software). This role is responsible for developing into and acting as a subject-matter expert for product, respective product training, and content creation expertise. Participates in product development calls. In conjunction with the Sales & Marketing team, this role aligns Marketing activities with divisional objectives and takes a role in the execution of these plans. This position actively conducts reviews of existing training, video, engagement levels, and develops new material as needed.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Course Content Development

    • Assist with developing course content and procedures, including new SOWs & SOPs

    • Collaborate with product management and sales team to develop a prioritization roadmap for product categories

    • Coordinate, manage, and maintain training plans in Learning Management System (LMS) and/or relevant dealer channel, end-user content

    • Routinely conduct needs assessments to identify education and social needs

    • Influence key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to turn vision into reality

    • Coordinate, plan, and present at consumer trade shows (AQS, OSQE, Rusty Barns) and industry events to support sales and marketing initiatives

    • Manage dealer feedback, weekly reporting, key learnings, reporting to manager and leadership team

    • Support Product Management team by participating in PDM cycle with BIL Japan - virtual calls and meetings, certain face to face meetings in US

    Training & Educational Programming

    • Administer, develop, and facilitate skills training and educational programs for both dealers, end-users and employees

    • Collaborate, plan, develop and manage the creation of scripts, video, dealer DIY materials

    • Manage the copywriting, editing, sign-off, and execution of materials

    • Work in conjunction with management to identify, prioritize and monitor training needs of both new and existing dealers

    • Assist with product photography, video planning, and production, inclusive of our Customer Experience Center (CXC)

    • Manage dealer event scheduling via Zinfi software, post event reporting

    • Support social media team with product selection, topics and scheduling of live events

    • Plan and manage supplies needed for training, events and production

    Educator Support

    • Perform education activities related to Brother Experience (BEX) conference annual product launch, help oversee event development, classroom curriculum

    • Assess abilities and identify gaps in order to become more efficient & effective

    • Assist and coach others on video, presentation, and educational content production best practices

    • Utilize all available market research data to help formulate new go-to- market education concepts and ideas to combat competitive threats

    • Recognize opportunities for efficiency improvement and implement innovative approaches

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) Marketing or related degree Preferred

    Experience

    Minimum 5 years

    A combination of relevant experience spanning the following areas:

    • Hands-on experience utilizing sewing machines & crafting machines for personal and/or professional use (Required)

    • Experience with developing training material & content creation (Required)

    • Experience facilitating trainings and/or educational seminars (Required)

    Software/Technical Skills

    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel (Intermediate) Required

    • Adobe Software/Photoshop (Basic) Required

    • Project management software (Basic) Preferred

    • Tableau (Basic) Preferred

    • Canva (Basic) Preferred

    • SCORM software (Basic) Preferred

    Other Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

    • Ability to work/thrive in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure and meet deadlines Required

    • Ability to manage projects through implementation Required

    This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by managers. #LI-Remote

    • The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 annualized per year

    • Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data
