Primary Functions:
The IT Product Manager role plays an important part in BNSFL’s IT product development process and you will be responsible for driving large scale cross-functional product initiatives for our IT product line. This would include defining product strategy and roadmap and working with stakeholders across multiple teams, as well as supporting the transformation strategy and contributing to the structure of the product team within the IT organization. You should possess a mix of technical strength, business strength, a keen eye for what constitutes good design.
Basic Qualifications:
A highly effective IT Product Manager leverages their knowledge and business acumen to effectively communicate business requirements to technical experts to facilitate the efficient delivery of technical solutions and/or process changes to address business needs.
Position Responsibilities:
Sets the strategy, roadmap and feature definition for a product and influence how it is built, launched, and enhanced. The IT Product Manager will:
Effectively work cross functionally to define and document product features and functionality
Document product scope, requirements, and success criteria for initial or incremental development.
Interface between business stakeholders and development team to ensure delivered product aligns with business expectation and requirement
Communicate with stakeholder on delivery, product enhancement and bug/defect management
Collaborate with stakeholders on product roadmap to insure business value and applicability
