    Job Title: IC Design Intern (Silicon Solutions Group)

    Locations: Cork, Galway, Dublin

    Reports to: Group Director

    Job Overview:

    This Internship will introduce you the basics skills of analog and digital IC design for high-speed communication circuits (e.g. 112 Gbps) used in data centre and cloud applications. You will use Cadence tools such as the Spectre spice simulator and the Virtuoso layout tool to design and implement basic IC circuits. You will also participate in team meetings and learn firsthand how an industry design team builds the world's fastest CMOS communication ICs.

    Role responsibilities:

    The internship offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of the IC products and get a great insight into the design environment, methodologies and tools of mixed signal IC product design teams.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Bachelors or Masters program in EEE
    • Interest in finding out more about analog and digital IC design, signal processing (digital and analog), telecommunications and control theory.
