Intern: Application Engineering - Custom IC

ion Engineer field under guidance of senior engineers

• Help with technical support to customers and field personnel in any one of these areas: Schematic capture, Analog and RF simulation.

• Assistance in root cause analysis and provide resolution to customer technical issue

• Follow up with customer test cases to verify problems, create workarounds, when possible, test and deliver R&D fixes.

• Author application notes and help provide feedback on documentation

Requirements:

• Enrollment in BS in Electrical, Electronic, System Engineering or related areas.

• One or two years to graduate

• Interest in learning new technologies.

• Open to continued personal development to meet the evolving demands of the EDA industry.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.

• Good problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

Basic understanding or academic knowledge with any of these:

• Analog/RF IC design flow.

• Exposure to communications theory, microwave and/or antennas.

Additional Job Details:

• Employment term: 20 hours/week.

• Location: Contorno Avenue 5800, Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais Brazil.
