    Job Summary:

    Evaluate new features and functions that are made available within Cadence PCB Design an analysis tools to articulate value proposition to EEs.

    Be the primary point of technical contact with key users to support and gather requirements for future release. Understand customer design challenges and influence product roadmaps to best meet the needs of the EE community

    Deliver well written product requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed demos, review functional design documents, perform evaluation of newly developed solutions, develop user training documents. Investigates customer issues/queries and works closely with the engineering team to support customers throughout their SOC development cycle

    Prepare presentation, demos to showcase cadence solution, product updates to ECAD and design teams. Work closely with then on training, deployment and adoption of Cadence solution and updates. Evangelize and drive adoption of Cadence ECAD tools though process development and training.

    Work closely with EEs to resolve issues with cadence solutions and advocate for efficient usages and adoption of cadence application.

    He / She will be working closely with R&D, Product Engineering, and Software Release teams.

    Experience and Technical Skills required:

    • 4 to 7 years experience in PCB System and Hardware design skills

    • Good knowledge of any EDA / ECAD tools (Eagle / OrCAD / Altium Designer/ KI-CAD/Mentor/Allegro/Cadence/Expedition/PADs/CadStar/CR5000)

    • Well versed with eCAD Component authoring process and methodologies such as Symbols/footprint/library creation as per the industrial standards.

    • Expert knowledge on design experience with computer-aided (CAD) tools, methods for PCB design, SI/PI analysis, documentation and automated design rule checking etc.

    • Good knowledge of PCB types, design and fabrication process at prototype level and mass production level.

    • Experience in circuit simulation with PSpice, LTspice, HSpice, Simetrix or similar simulation programs

    • Familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and CAD systems.

    • Expertise in TCL , C or powershell scripting

    Qualifications

    • BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent

    Behavioral skills required

    • Proficiency in communication of technical and business ideas through writeup/presentations as well as written and spoken English

    • Ability to establish a close working relationship with both customer peers and management
