Position summary

This opportunity is for an Application Engineer (AE) in library characterization area at Cadence.
He/She will work closely with the sales team in supporting sales campaigns by delivering workshops, benchmarks, product demonstrations, methodology consultations and product support.
He/She will also work closely with R&D to provide solution and become a key bridge between R&D and customer.
Years of experience: 5 to 10 years in library design/characterization and interested in CAD tools/design flow setup
Mandatory technical skill requirements:
- Knowledge of STD/IO library design or characterization flow
- Familiar with frontend Custom IC design flow using Virtuoso platform
- Experience in using Linux operating system (e.g. RHEL, etc)
Optional technical skill requirements:
- Knowledge on IC Layout flow using Virtuoso Layout Suite
- Knowledge on Physical Verification flow (DRC/LVS) using Assura/PVS
- Knowledge on Parasitic Extraction flow using QRC/Quantus
Mandatory linguistic requirements:
- Must be fluent in both written and conversational Mandarin and English
