Center 3 (19075), United States of America, McLean, VirginiaPrincipal Associate, DLP SecOps Analyst
Cybersecurity is essential to Capital One’s commitment to protect our customers and associates. We’re looking for an individual who’s passionate about cybersecurity and risk management. You see security as an innovation enabler and differentiator, not a step in the compliance process. You thrive working with business and technology partners to achieve goals and objectives in a secure manner.
You’re looking for a workplace where you can be your authentic self and be vulnerable, acting as a model for diverse, inclusive behavior. You value and help grow culture based around a psychologically safe environment.
Capital One is seeking a Data Loss Prevention Triage Analyst to oversee alerting for DLP Incidents. At Capital One, we believe in the values of Excellence and Doing the Right Thing. We are a technology-oriented company delivering financial products to market through modern technology and constant innovation at a massive scale.
As a candidate for this role, you’re able to use your experience to review alerts from our DLP tooling, and work to identify areas of risk, and solve for potential solutions. You are naturally curious and stay on top of emerging trends and threats. You are not afraid to question any existing processes and solutions, yet you display a keen sense of business value proposition and focus on the right priorities. You are a clear thinker, thrive in working across teams, and an expert in dealing with ambiguity. You believe that a core component of security’s role is to enable the business, not just to secure it, and the solutions you bring to life are aligned to the needs of our developer community and business partners. You thrive in working in a fast paced, technologically forward leaning environment and are not afraid to push the boundaries of security capabilities.
You have expert knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data analytics, incident management, or investigative programs and the ability to identify risks and advise on solutions and mitigations.
You have experience in effectively understanding and communicating DLP concepts, trends, people risk, or conduct risk program management.
You are adept at critical thinking, writing, and briefing.
