• Execute requirements and solutions that support projects and accounting objectives within the specified timeframes.

• Provide input to risk assessments with mitigation plans that include test strategies.

• Perform test execution based on strategies with ability to adapt easily to changing circumstances.

• Present and document project progress to key project stakeholders.

• Create, maintain, and update project artifacts such as process flows

• Able to identify process improvements and lead change where applicable

• Provide support to production teams, BAU, as projects are launched by setting up post monitoring plans, and working with BAU on updates to procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree or military experience

• At least 1 year of experience in accounting, external financial reporting, audit, or finance, or a combination

• At least 1 year of experience with Google Office or Microsoft Office products, or a combination

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years accounting or finance experience

• Project management experience 

• Strong knowledge of financial statements and reconciliation practices

• MS Office software proficient – Excel, PowerPoint, VISIO/GSuite (Preferred)

• PeopleSoft application experience 

• Reconciliation system experience (ReconPlus Preferred)

• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills

• Self-starter with an ability to take a proactive approach

• Agile methodology experience
