As a candidate for this role, you’re able to seamlessly switch from executive-level risk conversations to diving deep into controls and technology to driving high level, strategic discussions around metrics, data, and risk analytic reporting solutions. What you'll do...
Develop and communicate a risk-based and data-driven metrics, reporting and insights for data protection technology and solutions, in partnership with threat intel, engineering and operations partners, customers, and other stakeholders
Advise decision makers based on business and technology risk grounded in threat and risk analytics
Maintain technical and risk credibility the broader data protection team and with partners across the enterprise
Build relationships with Information Security Officers and business requirement stakeholders to generate new/improved value streams using data and insights
Create strategies to improve data accuracy and fidelity and informing upstream producers and downstream consumers of anomalous data
Develop insights using Machine Learning technologies to inform storytelling and decision making across multiple channels and topic areas (risk, controls, actions)
Recruit, motivate, mentor, and lead talent to be their best
****About You...
You have strong consulting and analytical skills
You have demonstrated clear communication skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization, and to influence senior management and executives (Including translating technical information based on specific audiences)
You have experience managing multiple high-visibility and high-impact enterprise cybersecurity projects with cross-functional teams while maintaining superior results through risk analytics, data governance, dashboarding, and insight generation
You have passion and expertise in one or more of the following areas: risk analytics, data analytics, machine learning, SQL, Python, cloud security, network security, vulnerability management, data protection, threat intelligence and investigations, or identity and access management.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 7 years experience in cybersecurity
At least 7 years in risk modeling or analytics
At least 7 years of experience translating cybersecurity metrics and analysis into cybersecurity strategy and roadmaps.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or an advanced degree in Computer Science or related discipline
5+ years of people leadership experience
3+ years experience in enterprise security metrics and risk analytics
3+ years in public cloud security and multi-cloud environments
3+ years machine learning, data science, or data analytics experience
Experience in regulated financial services organizations
Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC (various), CISM, CCSP, CISA, AWS Security, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Location is New York City: $222,589 - $262,605 for Sr Manager, Cyber TechnicalLocation is San Francisco, California: $235,806 - $278,198 for Sr Manager, Cyber TechnicalRemote roles in other areas of New York & California, and across Colorado & Washington: $188,636 - $222,548 for Sr Manager, Cyber Technical
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
