    Position summary

    quality, and operational teams. In this role, you will perform testing for in‑process and final product analysis, as well as monitor and verify instrument performance. You will conduct laboratory tests, document results in internal systems, and communicate findings both verbally and in writing.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Assist with the evaluation and interpretation of complex data; identify irregular test results and consult with senior team members as needed.

    • Review and assess data to determine appropriate corrective actions.Support our monitoring program by managing sample collection, coordinating shipment to various laboratories, and review, evaluate and report the resulting data.

    • Support laboratory trials and experiments under the guidance of senior staff.

    • Apply safe laboratory practices, ensure proper functioning of workstations, participate regularly in safety meetings, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration of standard laboratory equipment and instruments.

    • Handle advanced clerical, administrative, technical, or customer support tasks with minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex issues.

    • Maintain laboratory supplies by monitoring inventory levels, placing orders, and verifying incoming materials.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High school diploma, secondary education, or equivalent qualification in biology, chemistry, biotechnology, or related field

    • Fluency in Dutch and English (intermediate/conversational)

    • Strong analytical thinking skills.

    • Communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast‑changing environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and experience with ISO 17025 standards or accreditation.

    • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, food science, or a related discipline.

    • Experience with GC, LC and MS

    • Previous experience in a laboratory or food manufacturing environment.
