Oversee employee and contract farm health issues and concerns by gathering information on care, condition, performance and actions of animals.
Build knowledge and technology aptitude and apply it in work.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience interacting with various internal and external stakeholders, regulatory agencies, facility leaders, plant personnel or consultants.
Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Minimum of five years of related work experience
Knowledge of food safety, occupational safety and health standards and environmental regulations.
Experience in people management.
