Key Accountabilities
Run queries and extract data from different sources; Create and maintain internal data databases, Build and improve data pipelines.
Build and maintain customized dashboards and cloud-native data solutions, to visualize data, deliver meaningful metrics and trends to support business decisions and scalable AI deployment.
Apply AI models to analyse operational, market, and voyage datasets and convert findings into actionable insights.
Contribute to the development of digital products such as generative AI copilots, predictive models, optimisation engines, and simulation tools.
Work closely with business experts to collect requirements, and collaborate with them to test and refine.
Gradually gain expert knowledge in the area of vessel performance management. Develop a strong understanding of commercial decision-making, operational workflows, and how data creates value across the freight value chain.
Translate long term goals into a deliverable roadmap, with actionable items and timelines, on a window of ~ 6 months forward
Support business teams with experimentation, prototyping, and validation of AI and data science outputs.
Build and manage a backlog of deliverable items : prioritization, effort estimate, discovery sessions with users, prototyping, testing, communication (release notes to users)
Participate in problem-solving sessions, innovation discussions, and digital strategy workshops.
Contribute new ideas in applied AI, analytics, and maritime digital innovation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in Microsoft office suite and Power Automate.
Experience of databases, queries and reports
Strong experience with visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
AI : basic knowledge of prompting, leveraging available tools for enhanced self-productivity (GPT or Claude, Figma Make)
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work in a global team of multiple profiles and locations
Experience in backlog management tools like Azure DevOps or Jira
Experience with Python, R, SQL,
Experience with statistics, data analysis, data modelling
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Agile framework understanding (sprints, scrum methodology)
Interest in global trade, maritime logistics, digital products, and applied AI.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
