About the Role:

The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for achieving individual and company sales objectives through active promotion of Carrier as a professional organisation that delivers quality service and maintenance of Commercial air conditioning equipment, control systems and projects. The AM provides service team leadership and local operational direction to Carrier branch operations, ensuring efforts are directed in servicing and retaining preventive maintenance contracts, The AM actively participates as a Service Team member, developing local resources and capabilities to enable branch operations to effectively and profitably deliver the Company's services and products to customers.

What you will deliver:

  • Responsible for a portfolio of SA clients across all aspects of HVAC Service
  • Supervises Field Service Technicians, managing day-to-day priorities, solving client issues received by the team.
  • Drives a positive and proactive EHS culture ensuring compliance with KPIs and engaging fellow employees in discussions on important EHS topics
  • Optimises manpower and resources, responds to complaints of customers, and escalates key issues to senior management.
  • Always maintain effective communication with Service Coordinator in relation to field technician’s movements
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with your “designated client base” and create revenue growth through generation strategies to successfully achieve set revenue targets.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to your “designated client base”, as well as sharing initiatives with team as required to assist Branch in achieving goals
  • Identify, document, communicate and maintain updated work instructions and procedures for individual site service requirements
  • Encourage other team members to actively pursue Value Adding and Cross Selling Opportunities
  • Auditing and assessment of compliance on PM and planned activity (Quotations) to ensure best practice is being achieved whilst working within fiscally responsible approach based on customer spend parameters
  • Assistance to resolve and finalise outstanding Debtors issues “Disputed and beyond acceptable terms” of “designated client base”
  • Completion of Account Managers Report Monthly reflecting achievement to budget
