    Role objective:

    Carrier Business Services (CBS) is an organization committed to be a valued leader and business partner delivering efficient, effective and agile services that drive results and enable growth for our customers.

    CBS operates through four regional centers and one global center. The regional centers deliver services to meet the needs of the regions that they specifically support. The global center delivers global transactional processes as well as provides services to the other four regional centers. This operating model enables us to achieve more efficient, customer-focused delivery, with a higher level of consistency, flexibility, and scalability for our customers worldwide.

    This role supports the Senior Manager to provides oversight for day-to-day operations team in Hyderabad.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support management in settling in new transitions, running day to day operations, including performance management, KPI reporting, personnel management (hiring, development), SOPs and SOX controls framework, incidents and losses, process improvement and communication

    • Manage PTP teams with a span up to 15+ FTE.

    • Manage Vendor Master, Vendor query, Payment/disbursements processes in compliance with control policies

    • Responsible for invoice receipt to pay cycle - Ensure on time payment to vendors

    • Forecasting for the month and Qtr.

    • Monitoring of Purchase Orders on a regular basis with documentation.

    • Coordinate with local resources and managers to improve operations, e.g., reporting, quality, training, Continual improvement, SOX controls guidelines.

    • Act as an ongoing liaison to coordinate with PTP teams in other HUBS / BU’s to implement best practices.

    • Drive teams to continuous process improvement

    • Support other PTP Process teams as business demand requires

    • Support quick and effective escalation and resolution of operational issues in the process

    • Maintain up-to-date key and emergency contact lists for the location

     

    Ethics and compliance:

    • Ensure adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures
    • Be fully conversant and compliant with all Environmental Health and Safety procedures
    • Complete quarterly ethics module as advised by Ethics & Compliance Officer
    • Fully comply with all Quality, Environmental Health and Safety directives including but not limited to PPE, Accident Reporting, Cardinal Rules, Risk Assessment Method Statement and Achieving Competitive Excellence

    Success measures:

    • Work in partnership with Senior Management to stabilize transitions and build a strong operations foundation
    • Timely and accurate execution of the PTP strategies
    • Capable of connecting business performance to financial numbers
    • Employee morale and development
    • Internal and external customer feedback (Customers, CBS Leadership, Business Segments)

    Required knowledge & skills:

    • 8+ years PTP, RTR experience with an impressive career progression.
    • Excellent knowledge of all related processes within PTP and RTR
    • Ability to work in a global, virtual and matrixed environment
    • Experience of working and managing operations. 
    • High competency in written and verbal communication
    • Good analytical and interpersonal skills
    • Good understanding of Controls framework
    • Presentations and Structured working method
    • Formal continuous improvement training preferable (e.g. Six Sigma) 
    • Program and project management experience
    • Bachelor’s degree minimum in area of accounting, finance, or general management

    Shift timings

    • Should be flexible to work in shifts based on business needs
