- Manage the activities of multiple teams of engineers in a small branch or department who design complex manufacturing processes and specifications that will improve the efficiency and productivity of the organization’s manufacturing operations.
- Manages activities and programs that focus on improving production methods, determining manufacturing capacity, and setting up production schedules.
- Selects, leads, directs, evaluates, and develops a team of project managers to ensure that complex process engineering projects are completed on-time, within budget and according to project specifications.
- Liaises with organization executives to recommend changes needed to keep process engineering operations aligned with overall business objectives.
- Provides technical expertise for important and complex process engineering projects.
- Engages with customers, competitors, suppliers, professional organizations, or others to stay abreast of industry or business trends.
